It doesn't get any better than this! With tax-free shopping and many unique and exciting shopping districts, the Portland metro area is truly a shopper's paradise. The vital downtown area serves as the hub of retailing with major shopping centers conveniently located throughout the area.

In downtown Portland, two major department stores (Macy's and Nordstrom) can be found within walking distance of each other. Downtown is also home to Pioneer Place, a large indoor shopping mall, as well as many other standalone national and local stores that fit every taste and budget.

Nearby, the Pearl district and Nob Hill neighborhood in NW Portland offer a wide range of high-end shops and galleries. Just across the river, the Lloyd district is a hot spot for shoppers, visitors and businesses alike. In addition, there are numerous smaller shopping areas and community malls located close to most neighborhoods, including SE Hawthorne Boulevard, N.
