Government Relations
Public Policy Committee: Serves as a forum for members to give input on public policy that impacts business. The committee will meet every other month on the fourth Wednesday of the month, at different locations around town. All members are welcome to participate.
Sustainability Committee: Develops and reviews public policy proposals relating to the economic value of sustainable business practices.
Transportation Committee: Develops and reviews public policy proposals related to a broad range of transportation systems, mass transit, freight mobility and fair and adequate transportation funding.
Pacific Northwest International Trade Association (PNITA) Council: Advocates and educates on issues to enhance international trade and remove barriers to global competition. PNITA Policy Committees include Trade Policy, Tax & Fiscal Policy and Transportation.

Downtown Services/Central City
Central City Standing Committee: Provides leadership in maintaining the appearance, safety and function of the Central City to keep it clean, safe and attractive.
Downtown Retail Council: Conducts cooperative retail promotions. Oversees implementation of the Downtown Retail Strategy and represents the collective interests of downtown retailers to elected governmental bodies. Operates the downtown Business Improvement District. Members must be restaurateurs, hoteliers or retailers inside the downtown Business Improvement District.
Downtown Retail Strategy Task Force: Provides leadership and support for retail vitality in the Downtown Retail Core and advises on implementation of the 2007 Downtown Retail Strategy update.
Public Safety Committee: Develops and reviews Central City public-safety oriented initiatives, policies and programs.
Development Committee: Develops and reviews initiatives, programs and policies related to public spaces, land use, development and housing issues unique to the Central City.
PDC Budget Review Task Force: Works with the Alliance's government relations department to conduct periodic reviews of the Portland Development Commission's Urban Renewal Area budget.

Marketing & Communications
Marketing Communications Committee: Plans and develops marketing and communications efforts that support the positioning of the Portland Business Alliance and the general business community. Advises on the Alliance's large-scale events.

Membership
Small Business Council: Works on implementation of the Small Business Prosperity Strategy developed by the Alliance, city, neighborhood and business organizations.
President's Council: Council members meet with new Alliance members to show the benefits of membership, call to express appreciation for members’ support, assist and serve as Ambassadors at Alliance networking events.
Golf Scramble: Plans and executes annual golf scramble held in September. (Active April through September)
Women's Golf Scramble: Plans and executes annual women’s 9-hole golf scramble held in the spring. (Active March through June)
